Shoot Info:
Night photography is an art that takes practice, patience and some trial and error when you're just beginning. Using a shutter speed between 10-15 seconds these shots were taken on a very stable mini tripod with a Canon 5D and a Canon 50mm/1.8. This lens happens to be Canon's cheapest - and is probably better suited for creative shots and portraits as it provides images with it's own type of gaussian blur due to the lens quality - However as it is small and light it's a great lens to keep on the camera when running around without a bag and you just want to snap away.
Pro Tip:
Use a tripod, turn off the flash, use a remote if you have one and try a variety of exposure and shutter speed settings.

Tiger in the wild
- @The Jungle
Tigers – Majestic, awesome, powerful creatures inspire all. If you can get close enough or if you have a good enough lens you’ll get a shot like this one.
Actually, shot this at 200mm on a canon with a 1:6 sensor at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo.
